Spencer Pond Camps - The Moosepaykeechick

One of the largest cabins with its own private lawn stretching down to the shore it is situated a short distance away from the other cabins.  The porch swing on the spacious screened in porch is a favorite for many returning guests. The porch is a perfect place to nap, enjoy a meal, or sleep outside listening to the sounds of the nearby bog, from snipe to green frogs. Guests enjoy watching for herons roosting in the firs in front of the cabin, eagles soaring overhead, snowshoe hare on the lawn, or even the occasional Moose ambling down along the shore.  Inside the main cabin there are two downstairs bedrooms with twin beds (can convert to kings). There is also a loft which has a third bedroom with two twin beds. The dining/living area has a futon which can be converted into a double bed. The floor plan is open with a cathedral ceiling and an open kitchen and dining room.  Aptly named, this is where the "moose" ambling into the camp yard often make their first appearance. One of the newest log cabins, it was built by Chick and Anne Howe in 1980Current operator Christy remembers sweeping sawdust and peeling logs as this cabin was built. Sleeps 6-9                                 Click here to book reservations
